What is it:
- Foobetik cream is a special foot care formulation which takes care of all foot related problem with marked benefits to people suffering from diabetes. This non-greasy cream is enriched with natural emollients to provide a deep penetrating treatment for the feet.
Benefits:
- Deep Moisturizing
- Heals Cracked Feet
- Treats corns, calluses, and psoriasis
- Protects feet from fungal and bacterial infection
- Calms diabetic foot
- Quick absorbing
- Free from silicones and parabens
Why is it Different:
- In general, the concept of foot creams is to provide moisturization and sometimes gentle exfoliation of the hard and dry skin. The addition of a high concentration of emollient and humectants make the formulations greasy and tacky. Apart from giving a moisturizing benefit, they end up by giving a messy feel to the feet.
- In contrast, Foobetik cream is an ultra-hydrating, non-greasy formulation which not only hydrates the feet intensely but also gives certain extra benefits to the feet. It is a must for people who are suffering from diabetes or have similar manifestations.
- Several kinds of foot problems are faced by people suffering from diabetes. They experience damaged foot, ulcers, corns and calluses, dry skin, ingrown nails and recurring fungal infections. Most of these symptoms arise due to decreased sensation from nerve damage, extreme dryness and lack of oxygen delivery to the feet caused by vascular disease.
- Foobetik cream is designed after intense result to give protracted results in the foot problems associated with diabetes. It is not just a cream to treat cracked heels, but it ensures the overall health of the feet and corrects the concerns like discomfort, extreme dryness, temperature changes and also helps in prevention of skin infections.
Directions for Use:
Clean the feet thoroughly to remove all dirt and debris and dry well. Apply Foobetik cream on the feet in sufficient amount and massage gently till it get absorbed. For best results, apply daily at night time.
Ingredients:
Water (Aqua), Lactic Acid, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Urea, Glycerine, Propanediol, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Oil, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Cetearyl Alcohol & Ceteareth-20, Dimethicone, Pyrus Malus (Apple) Vinegar, L-Arginine Hydrochloride, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Camphor, Xanthan Gum.
L-ARGININE is an amino acid that is attributed with being highly efficient at protecting the skin from free radical damage.
L-arginine functions by building protein and releasing nitric oxide in the bloodstream, which plays an essential role in cell division, boosting immunity in the body and production of growth hormone.
L-arginine also improves local blood flow and reduces complications related to impaired circulation of blood.
Research also suggest that its topical application improves temperature in the feet, giving a comfort to irritated feet.
LACTIC ACID is a hydrating alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) commonly derived from milk, but there are alternative vegan sources, like fermented corn starch, beets, and other sugar-rich foods.
It exfoliates by loosening the bonds between dead and hard skin cells to reveal a softer skin. Additionally, it works on the hydration of the dry skin.
This super hydrating acid makes the hard skin of feet soft and relieves the cracked skin.
APPLE CIDER VINEGAR is made when apple cider is fermented with yeast and other helpful bacteria. The effectiveness of apple cider vinegar relies on the fruit acids it contains, such as acetic acid and malic acid.
The AHA present in apple cider vinegar exfoliates the dead skin and restores the proper pH levels of the skin. The right pH balance keeps the outer layer of the skin, the acid mantle stable and healthy to keep the skin protected from irritation and microbial invasions.
Apple cider vinegar also prevents the feet from fungal infections (Tinea pedis).
UREA is a humectant due to its ability to retain moisture by binding to water. When urea is applied to the skin, it is able to penetrate into the stratum corneum to further enhance water absorption.
At high concentrations, urea is a keratolytic and helps to loosen scaly, dead skin allowing for exfoliation and improve cellular turnover.
By retaining moisture and enhancing the skin’s renewal process, urea helps to ultimately strengthen the stratum corneum barrier function to fight the extremely hard and damaged skin. Urea is well known to heal the cracked skin.
TEA TREE OIL comes from the leaves of Melaleuca alternifolia, a small tree native to Queensland and New South Wales, Australia.
This natural oil is a potent soothing and anti-inflammatory agent which calms the irritated and itchy skin. Makes it a must for the treatment regimen of itchy, scaly and irritated feet.
SHEA BUTTER is one of the top moisturizing ingredients to use in dry skin conditions. Shea butter is a plant lipid that comes from African shea tree nuts and is rich in fatty acids, antioxidants, and vitamins. Shea Butter is great for hydration and calms the skin. It intensely hydrates the dry skin of feet to retain a long-lasting softness and prevent the feet from all sorts of discomfort.
